Grilled Basil Portabella Mushrooms

Ingredients

  • 50 (2-ounce) portabella mushrooms, cleaned
  • 1/2 c Better Than Bouillon® Reduced Sodium Seasoned Vegetable Base
  • 3/4 c Dijon mustard
  • 1 1/2 c balsamic vinegar
  • 1/2 c minced garlic
  • 1/4 c granulated sugar
  • 3 1/8 c chopped basil
  • 1 tbsp. cracked black pepper
  • 1 1/2 qt vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix Reduced Sodium Seasoned Vegetable Base, mustard, vinegar, garlic, sugar, basil and black pepper. Slowly whisk in the oil. Add the marinade to the portabella mushrooms and refrigerate for 1 ½ hours or up to 8 hours.
  2. Preheat the grill to 400°F.
  3. Place mushrooms onto the grill and grill for 2-3 minutes per side.
