Apple Cranberry Stuffing with Bacon

Ingredients

  • 4 lb cubed French bread, cut into 4? cubes and toasted
  • 1 tbsp. poultry seasoning
  • 1 tbsp. ground black pepper
  • 1 1/2 gal water mixed with 1 cup Better Than Bouillon® Roasted Chicken Base, dissolved
  • 1 1/2 lb dried cranberries
  • 8 small-diced apples
  • 8 small-diced onions
  • 1 1/2 lb small diced celery
  • 4 lb small diced uncooked bacon
  • 1 c chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a hotel pan.
  2. Saute bacon over medium-high heat and cook for 3-4 minutes. Add celery and onion and cook for 3 more minutes.
  3. Add apple, dried cranberries, black pepper, poultry seasoning, and parsley. Cook for 2 more minutes.
  4. Add the bread to a large mixing bowl and add bacon mixture.
  5. Add the Roasted Chicken broth and stir to combine.
  6. Add stuffing to the hotel pan. Place in the oven and bake for 30 minutes.
